A while ago I was sent some brand new oils from Beardster
I previously reviewed their balms which you can read about here
I have held back on this until now as some of the oils had been changed slightly after receiving these ones pictured so I wanted to wait until I had received the updated ones before doing a full review which i’m happy to report is now.
Lets talk about the oils themselves:
I do love an unscented oil because if you have a favourite scented balm but don’t want to overpower it and still want to condition your beard then look no further because even though it’s unscented it’s still full of quality ingredients that keep your beard looking and feeling great.
As previously mentioned I reviewed some balms, the Chai Lemon was one of those. This was one of the oils that were changed as Beardster wanted to tweak the scent dilution.
Chai Lemon gets my vote as I usually do the school run as I need all the help I can get on a Monday Morning and this repairs, protects & hydrates my beard. The Lemongrass Chai Latte blends so well with the freshness of the Tea Tree.
This one is hands down my favourite. I was away with Mel recently attending a wedding of some very good friends of ours and this was the oil I decided to pack. It’s Citrusy with a massive kick of fresh Lime which infuses greatly with the Ylang Ylang. I have had to put this in the special occasion pile because I love it so much and don’t want it to run out. Fortunately this weekend is our 1st Wedding Anniversary so I will get a few times to wear it again as we have some things planned together.
Another one that was tweaked. This one combines Sweet Vanilla with Sandlewood and is great for those grey sky days as it’s really warming. This oil is thicker in consistency due to Benzoin used
Beardster’s website is very well constructed and provides comprehensive details of all products, ingredients, scent notes & allergy information to help you pick the perfect product for yourself or a loved one because who doesn’t love a bit of beard-mail ?.
So once again it’s onwards and upwards for Beardster and they have no intention of slowing down because as of this very moment even more products are being created. Will there be a Beardster trilogy ?
