The Audacious Beard Co Review

Recently I was fortunate to receive some products from The Audacious Beard Co. based in Lincolnshire

Spanning five generations, The Audacious Beard Co. have a rich bearded heritage which spans five generations all the way back to Alfred William Crow, London entrepreneur, hotelier and publican.

They have also had their products featured in publications such as The City Magazine, Elle & CQ.

Here are my thoughts:

First of all it’s really well presented packaging with even some keepsakes

This is what awaited me. I love this bag – it’s now housing my Boar Bristle Beard Brush (not included in this pack)

Now onto the items

The Audacious Beard Shampoo Bar

Out of the products I received this was the first thing I used as personally like to use a soap/wash to start my beard care ritual. I also use similar items at night to wash products out. Depending on the insomnia gods and their sense of humour it varies massively but regardless I love the fresh feeling in the middle of the night just as much as the start of the day, so this ticks all the boxes.

Great attention to detail, there is even branding on the soap itself.

The Soap not looks amazing but with ingredients such as Shea Butter, Avocado ( a very much non-existent ingredient in many male grooming products its has Vitamin  A,B,K & E) so kudos 🙂 olive, activated charcoal mixed with essential oils – Tea Tree, Tangerine, Ylang-Ylang smells absolutely divine, washes out super easy and leaves your beard ready for the next part of your beard care routine.

The Wood Chopper Beard Oil

How many is too many beard oils ? is something  I seemed to asked a lot. I like to have a good selection to fit my mood, the season and even sometimes I will decide on a product on what I’m wearing or if I am going out anywhere particular for the day/evening. My wife didn’t get it at first but once I put into perspective using a make up palette analogy she got it. So the Long answer is for me you can’t have too many

The Wood Chopper is perfect for right now as it’s cold and it’s getting darker in the evening earlier so something with a warming feeling is just great.

With ingredients such as Patchouli, Bergamot & Juniper Berry It’s musky, earthy, woody but more importantly subtle which is important for me as I don’t want it to be so overpowering that people think I am going to a Ozric Tentacles concert. Unfortunately the only thing missing is a Rucksack & Axe.

It’s important what goes on your beard, so it’s great to know that The Audacious Beard Co are fully insured and comply with EU & UK Regulations, all of our products are fully safety assessed by a Cosmetic Chemist in line with the Cosmetics Products (Safety) Regulations.

They are also proud members of the Guild of Craft Soap & Toiletry Makers

Feed the beard and make it Audacious!
